Exodus 5 22 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?
Have you ever questioned God? I certainly have. And I am sure most people who are honest will attest to the same. In my daily chapter reading this morning Moses asked God, "Why did you send me?" The people he was called to lead were in slavery forced to make a certain quota of bricks each day. The straw that had been provided for them to build the bricks had been taken and they had to go out and forage for the straw themselves. They were beaten when they did not meet the quota. Things went from bad to worse. These extreme conditions brought about this question from Moses to God. No matter where God has sent you or whatever He has called you to do, He will make a way. The way may not be easy at all. But eventually, you will see God's plan working out before your eyes. He will give you the tools you need to survive. Someday, He will grant you favor among those who have come against you. |
